Stephen is a dual UK and South African citizen who qualified as a Pathologist in 1993 and established a pathology lab in KZN 1995, where he still practices.
Stephen founded South Africa’s first stem cell banking operation in 2001 and subsequently sold this business to Cryo-Save, a Euro-Next listed Belgian company.
Stephen has business interests in medical and property businesses

Financial and Managing Director: Gaynor Purcell
Gaynor qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Durban with articles at Pim Goldby and Deloitte and has completed Australian Accounting qualification examinations through Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga, NSW, Australia. She worked as an accountant in various Durban shipbuilding companies and then for numerous years in Dunlop Tyres, Durban, where she was Group Accountant within the multinational structure of the company. Gaynor subsequently managed a small biotech company from start-up until its sale to a EuroNext-listed Swiss-registered company.
